Wheel of Life: Reflection Exercise
I love doing the Wheel of Life Reflection Exercise every once in a while. It helps me take stock of how I’m doing with my one wild and precious life.
The center represents 0 (the lowest rating) and the outer edge represents a 10 (the highest). The categories I used are friends, family, health, physical environment, partner, career, money, fun, personal growth, and activism. You can use whatever categories are important to you!
Mapping out my life this way inspired me to think about what I might want to bring into my life to strengthen the personal growth area. Life feels pretty full for the next couple months with cleaning our house, moving to a new house, and celebrating all the upcoming holidays. But I am starting to think about what my intentions will be for the new year. I like getting a head start on that process so I can let ideas marinate in my mind.
I will also want to focus on increasing the Health category. I imagine that work will look like putting in the work it takes to have a lot of “go to” healthy meals.
And as far as Friends go, I want to make a more concerted effort to connect with our far-flung friends.
What areas do you want to work on in your Wheel of Life?
