I know people that used the mom's family name and love it. Hobson, they call him Hobbs. I think it's a great way to honor your family without having to have a long hyphenated name. Cotner would be a cute name for sure. Henry is my favorite name, but I have been seeing it lots too.
Nameberry.com is a fun place to browse names! I like all of your name ideas Sara! I love very unique names like Avett but also names that honor a family. I am named after my great-grandmother and love that connection to her even though we never met. My friend named her baby Liberty because of their love of Boston and US History. Isn't that cute?
I have a friend who's named Lewis (his mother's maiden name) and I always thought that was a wonderful way around the his name-her name quandary. I love names that connect within a family.
And your letter to Coconut is beautiful; what a wonderful thing for him to have when he's older.

Funny to hear about your Henry name problem. Henri is not all popular (anymore ?) for babies here in france !
Very short names are popular such as Noa. Or Leo. 🙂
Good luck with picking a name.

I love Cotner, and I think you should add a nest with an egg in it to your bird picture.
