Find and Follow Your Passion
This comment from One and Doll deserves to be pulled out and spotlighted. Simply lovely.
What you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.
It will decide
what will get you out of bed in the morning,
what you do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read, whom you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in Love, stay in love,
and it will decide everything.-Pedro Arrupe, SJ
P.S. Thanks to Grandma Cotner for the early Christmas present so a little boy could follow his passion. We bought this bike and pulled all the stickers off. It works perfectly for short little ones!

It is a lovely quote. Context is important though, and in this quote, Fr. Arrupe is talking about falling in love with God. Just FYI.

You have to love Grandma's 🙂 Really like the idea of this bike instead of tricycles or training wheels!

Why did you pull the stickers off?

Hi, Carrie: We wanted it to be more simple, less over-stimulating, and more aesthetically pleasing. We like the look of a plain red bike.

It is a sharp red bike. 🙂 I was surprised you didn't go for the Skuut or other similar wooden version. Does the Strider (I think that's the brand based on the look) receive better reviews on average?

I know–I love the wooden bikes! I didn't research it too much, but it seemed like the Strider had the lowest seat and was therefore most practical for really young kids. We wanted to get Henry a bike early because he is obsessed with bikes. He talks about bikes and apples all the time. When we have to purchase something expensive (or, in this case, ask for an expensive gift), we like to get it as early as possible so it lasts a long time. We've been happy with the Strider, although we don't have anything to compare it to.
