Hungryroot: Quick Meals, Vegetarian-Friendly
Matt and I have been using a local meal-kit delivery service for a while now. I appreciate the nearly zero-waste approach. Everything comes in reusable containers/jars that they pick up when they drop of the new week’s ingredients. However, I’m really tired of overly-healthy meals (even though I am focused on getting healthy). Last week, for example, one of the meals was lentils and vegetables, and I just couldn’t do it. I decided to give Hungryroot a try.
The thing that attracted me to Hungryroot was the promise of dinner prep taking only 10-15 minutes. That’s my kind of timeline!
If Trader Joe’s did curbside pick-up, I feel like I could get grab-and-go ingredients from them and pull together quick meals on my own. For example, this roasted gnocchi or falafel salad look so tasty and easy!
As it is, Hungryroot will be delivering a box of groceries on Tuesday that has “grab-and-go” components that will enable us to throw together some quick and easy meals.
I look forward to giving Hungryroot a try!
