New Podcast Episode—Halfway to Home: Our Mid-Year Check-in
I brought my microphone with me to Hawai’i so that Katherine and I could stick to our podcasting schedule. Then I totally flaked and was at the beach when it was time to start. But I headed straight home to rectify the situation!
I enjoyed stepping back to reflect on how we are doing with our intentions for 2021. We are nearly halfway done with this year!
If you are interested, here’s what we talk about in this episode:
We start with our current Highs and Lows (i.e., summer vacation highlights, struggles with mindful eating, a distaste for the summer heat). Then we shift into Today’s Topic focused on checking in on our annual goals. Next we share a couple of Tips & Tricks (grocery store meals on trips and a $100 foosball table). Finally, we close out with Facing Forward to share what we want to make true in our lives in the next two weeks as we work to cultivate lives full of joy, purpose, and community.

Have you guys tried this approach? We are loving it for our 7-year-old and it is working amazingly for keeping things picked up in general. https://www.thelazygeniuscollective.com/lazy/kidchores

I’ll have to check it out! Thank you so much, Katie! I really like Kendra and her work, but I haven’t listened to this episode.
