New Podcast Episode—Big Behaviors: What We’ve Learned About Parenting
In this week’s episode, Katherine and I talk about the heavy topic of parenting big behaviors.
In many ways, all children go through periods of having pretty extreme or challenging emotions or behaviors. This can happen when they go through a big life change like starting school or losing a pet. Behaviors can be even more pronounced when the child has experienced trauma (like a pandemic!) or is autistic or has unique has sensory needs.

On Turning 44: What I’m Thinking and Feeling
I turned 44 last week, and it seemed like a good time to step back and reflect on what I’m thinking and and feeling as the years continue to roll on.

Happy 11th Birthday, Henry!
Sweet Henry’s birthday is coming up this February 28th. I’m continuing my annual tradition of reading him a letter on his birthday and hanging up pictures from his year (as well as one photo from each of his previous years).
