How to Plan a Friendsgiving Party
Katherine and I prepared for our most recent podcast by reflecting on what kind of Fall/Winter we want to have. I realized that I am craving community. I immediately started thinking about how to plan a Friendsgiving Party.
My preliminary research showed that there’s quite a range of what you can expect at a Friendsgiving Party. You could do traditional Thanksgiving foods, or you can shake it up entirely by doing something like breakfast for dinner or even just a potluck where you ask everyone to bring their favorite pizza. Meal Planning Retreat: Do you want to join us?
As many of you know, I struggled for 10 years to build the best meal-planning system for our family. I finally cracked it! I put in a couple hours at the front end to put together my system, and now it only takes me 5 minutes a week to plan my meals and order my groceries for the week.
This past weekend, for example, we were driving home from a camping trip with friends. I spent five minutes planning our meals for the week and ordering our groceries—all from the comfort of the passenger’s seat!

I honestly feel very insecure giving anyone parenting advice after the struggles I have had, but I enjoyed talking with Katherine nonetheless!
