    Talking to Kids about Human Development and Sexuality

    There were three recent events which got me thinking about the process of talking to kids about human development and sexuality.

    The first is that we moved our Human Development lessons online during Distance Learning. The second was a conversation with my friend about how her son was participating in the school’s lessons and wasn’t talking much about the content of the lessons. The very next day, Tate grabbed It’s Not the Stork out of the container behind my bed and asked me to read it to him.

    Interestingly, I’ve gone through phases during the pandemic. First, Phase 1 was: There’s no time to eat. I have to lead my entire organization to create an effective Distance Learning for Equity plan in the span of one week and three days. Then there was Phase 2: This is really stressful and awful. Let’s make life better with junkfood! (I literally bought every mix made by King Arthur.). Now I am in Phase 3: Why not use this time to focus on getting healthy?     New Favorite Clothes from Boden

    I’ve been living in some seriously ugly pants. Like really bad. They are bell-bottom yoga pants. One pair is black with paisley at the top. The other pair is gray with pink at the top. Both pairs have big, noticeable seams running down the sides. I’ve been eager to have some comfortable, day-to-day clothes to slip into. Here are my new favorite clothes from Boden!
