    Hungryroot: Quick Meals, Vegetarian-Friendly

    Matt and I have been using a local meal-kit delivery service for a while now. I appreciate the nearly zero-waste approach. Everything comes in reusable containers/jars that they pick up when they drop of the new week’s ingredients. However, I’m really tired of overly-healthy meals (even though I am focused on getting healthy). Last week, for example, one of the meals was lentils and vegetables, and I just couldn’t do it. I decided to give Hungryroot a try.

    Sorry this whole week is focusing on Health & Wellness! It’s helping me stay motivated. I’m really eager to build up a bank of go-to healthy meals for lunch and dinner. (Right now, I’m really happy with my go-to breakfast smoothie).

    This week for dinner, we are going to try these Roasted Cauliflower Taco Bowls.

    For lunch, I’m going to try this really simple Mediterranean Lunch Box.

    A Watch Pedometer: My Favorite

    A Watch Pedometer

    I searched for “unobtrusive pedometers” and came across a watch pedometer that I’m really excited about. I have to dress professionally for work, so I searched for something that looked more like a professional watch than a pedometer or exercise watch. This is the one I found.

    It will track my sleep, heart rate, activity, steps, etc. Specifically, I’m using it as a pedometer to encourage me to get up and walk enough each day. It’s part of my commitment to trying to build a healthier lifestyle.
