Those of you who have read Feeding the Soil for a while know that I tend to cycle through the same set of posts! Such as: “I’ve been unhealthy lately and need to get back on track!” Or, “We haven’t been following our budget and need to get back on track!” I don’t look upon these cycles with shame. My Favorite Meditation App: Smiling Mind
I’ve found my new favorite meditation app! It’s called Smiling Mind. Smiling Mind is a non-for-profit web and app-based meditation program developed by psychologists and educators to help bring mindfulness into your life.
A couple months ago, I was on the hunt for a book to help me launch a meditation practice. I bought this one and really liked it at first. I enjoyed learning about the rationale for meditation in your life. But then I just couldn’t stay engaged.

Healthy Habits: Trying to Get on Track Again
Phew! I am having a hard time enacting healthy habits in my life right now. I give myself immense grace as the pandemic rages on in my country.
