I would be remiss to write a post about my favorite face masks without taking a moment to name the deep sorrow I feel for my home country.

How to Practice Mindfulness: Any Recommendations?
The boys and I have been obsessed with watching the reality TV show Alone. It’s about 10 survivalists who are competing to endure the wilderness for as long as possible. Each person is completely alone. Therefore, they even have to film themselves! I didn’t realize that watching this show would lead me down the path of asking how to practice mindfulness.

New Green Smoothie Recipe: On Trying to Eat Healthier
Interestingly, I’ve gone through phases during the pandemic. First, Phase 1 was: There’s no time to eat. I have to lead my entire organization to create an effective Distance Learning for Equity plan in the span of one week and three days. Then there was Phase 2: This is really stressful and awful.
