Backyard Designs: What I’m Dreaming & Scheming
It’s so fun to spend my free time dreaming up ideas for the new house (when I’m not stressing about the upcoming election and the fate of the United States). Here are the backyard designs I’m scheming about:
A cozy covered patio. There’s a small covered patio. I’m thinking this sectional.
And I love this outdoor rug.
And this outdoor shower?!?!
This chiminea is so cool (although I think I would opt for a fire pit instead).
And we’ll be bringing our outdoor dining table with us, so we will need some kind of area for that.

Preparing Our Home: Summer Spruce Up
I’m really trying not to count how many weeks we’ve been in shelter-in-place. I tend to keep my mind pretty fuzzy about the date in general, except when it’s Friday and we get to have a Movie Night. (The four of us rotate through selecting the movies.) As we continue to spend so much time at home and the weather becomes consistently warm, I’m really feeling the need for a Summer Spruce Up at our home.

New IKEA Finds: What We Are Loving Right Now
This weekend we all went to my office at work. The boys spend about 30 minutes a day in my office, so we have a collection of toys there. Henry wanted Matt to help him with a big Lego set he was working on, and I wanted a chance to tidy up at the end of the semester. It felt good to get everything organized again.
