    New Year Reflection Process: What I Do

    New Year Reflection Process

    Y’all know I love a good New Year reflection process! I’ve done so many different things over the years. I’ve made my own forms, used other people’s forms, skipped forms altogether, hosted Reflection & Rejuvenation parties, and made vision collages of what kind of year I was hoping to have.

    This year, I used some of the reflecting I had already started. I’ve also been jotting down ideas in my notebook.

    Gratitude: Happy Thanksgiving Break!

    I’m writing this post from my old couch in my new house. The living room and kitchen are completely set up. (Just don’t step into the garage. Oh wait, it’s so packed you wouldn’t even be able to step into it!) I am full of gratitude.

    I am so grateful for my little family of four. It feels like wherever we are together is home. On our first morning in our new house, we made pancakes and played Mario Party.

    I am so grateful for Barclay the Husky that we get to babysit for two months.

    Emotional Intelligence: What Are Your Top 5 Emotions?

    I’m still going strong with the Noom app, which I’m having trouble believing. Our life is full of stress right now (we are moving this week!). But I’m continuing to walk nearly 10,000 steps a day, log all my meals, weigh myself each day, and stay under my daily calorie allotment. I was never this consistent with WeightWatchers or MyFitness Pal. I think one of the reasons relates to the daily activities in Noom that require you to think in new ways and learn more about psychology. Last week, my activities focused on Emotional Intelligence.
