Our family has a goal of exploring four small towns this year, so we headed to Lockhart, Texas. We loved exploring Lockhart Texas with kids!
Lockhart, Texas, is located approximately 30 minutes south of Austin. It’s a quaint town with a lot of history. We parked in the main square on E. San Antonio Street right outside the Southwest Museum of Clocks & Watches, which was the perfect base for exploring the area.

How to Pack Light for a 7-Day Cruise
Here’s how I packed light for a 7-day cruise. Everything fits in a carry-on bag! I only have a carry-on piece of luggage, so I’m forced to pack light. But now I kind of like it that way! It’s easier to cart around, and if it’s going to cost extra to check baggage, I can just carry it on. Here’s how I packed light and squeezed everything in to one carry-on bag for our 7-day cruise.
