Family Gap Year Post #10: Departure To Do List
I started writing posts about planning a Family Gap Year back in September of 2019. And then everything came to a grinding halt in March 2020.
And here we are in March 2022 and it looks like things are on track for a June departure!?!?
Everything is all set for me to work remotely for the year. Family Gap Year Post #9: A Plan Takes Shape
Trying to plan a Family Gap Year during an international health crisis is quite a trip (pun intended).
A tentative plan is taking shape. None of this has been 100% confirmed at work, but you know I like to plan, even when it’s not 100% certain! Here are the details in case you are interested:
- Matt and I would keeping renting out this house. We have had a tenant in that house for more than a year now, and she wants to stay.

Epic Road Trip: What We’re Thinking About
In the last podcast that Katherine and I recorded (getting released tomorrow), we talk about plans for our vacations this year. Planning for that episode gave me the idea that my family should go on an epic road trip this summer. Like for the entire month of June!
