The New Normal
I remember someone talking about how scary it is to take two young children out of the house when you first have a baby, but then you just do it and it gets easier and easier.Matt has been out of town for work the past two Wednesdays in a row. A Built-in Desk
One of the last things we need to think about for our house is whether or not we want to have a built-in desk. The entryway to our home is huge (it’s similar to the photo above, except there is more than 2-feet deep of wall space underneath the narrow window). Since the house itself is a modest size (relative to the average size for upper-middle class families in our area–at ~1,800 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms), it makes sense to try and maximize that space as much as possible.
