DIY: Chalkboard Window
I finally finished my chalkboard window project. Egad!
Well, it’s not really finished, but I did make significant progress.Here’s what I did:
- Found a cheap old window from an antique store.
- Cleaned said mirror outside on the grass.
- Put masking tape around the inside edges to prevent the paint from getting on the outside frame.
- Painted a couple coats with magnetic paint.
- Painted a couple coats with chalkboard paint.
- Took the finished product to Hobby Lobby and asked them to attach picture hanging hardware (which they did for free!).
- Hung window on wall. Voila!

Pregnancy Snacks
I’ve been trying follow the specific nutritional guidelines put forth in the What to Expect When You’re Expecting book:- 3 servings of protein (20-25 grams/serving)
- 4 servings of calcium
- 3 servings of Vitamin C
- 3 servings of green leafy and yellow fruits and vegetables
- 2 servings of other fruits and vegetables
- 6 servings of whole grains and legumes
