    Swimming Routine: What I’m Trying

    I’m finally going to build in regular exercise into my life. Fingers crossed it will stick! If I can pull it off, it will be the first time I’ve had regular exercise in my life since COVID started. Oy! Instead of running, this time I’m going to try and fit in a swimming routine.

    Katherine and I decided to pause the topic we had scheduled and instead focus on taking care of ourselves and others during difficult times. It’s really hard right now, y’all!     My heart had already been in a place of despair these past couple of weeks as I’ve been thinking about the world collapsing. And then I heard news of what is happening in Afghanistan. My heart breaks for the people of Afghanistan. I’ve been thinking a lot about how to talk to elementary aged children about what’s happening in Afghanistan.
