    Self-Care: What does it mean to me these days?

    Well, it’s been another rough period! In my weekly newsletter, I talked all about what it was like to live in Texas last week (Spoiler Alert: not fun).     I love when I can identify a 5-minute fix that has an exponentially positive impact on my life! I usually drag my feet for months and then realize it was actually very painless. There was this plant shelf, this bathroom shelf, and countless other things.

    Summer Vacation: Making Plans Now

    The other day, I was working through my monthly planning process. I realized I’m supposed to be planning Fall Break this month. What?!? I haven’t even started planning our Summer Vacation yet!

    Every year, I have two weeks off for Summer Vacation. Then I try to save up all of my sick days (I get six a year), so I have another week off. As I type all of that out, I’m realizing I won’t be able to take off three consecutive weeks this year. We are onboarding a new principal.
