    Beto O’Rourke Quotes

    My excitement for Beto O’Rourke continues. And he can actually win! I’m going to volunteer as much as I can in the final 50 days before November 6 to help mobilize voters to get to the polls. 
    I signed up to manage a “Pop Up Office,” where volunteers will gather to go block walking and phone banking. I also volunteered our house to be used as a Pop Up Office every day from 8am-3pm. 
    When I went to the training, the facilitator suggested that we put a motivational quote on the walls. I decide to find some Beto quotes to post. However, my search didn’t yield much, which is crazy

    Goal Tracking App

    I came across a great app for tracking goals: Streaks
    It lets you input things you want to do (or things you want to stop doing) and the frequency with which you want to do them (either per day or per week). 
    It’s a really simple interface for day-to-day tracking. I was using it (and loving it) to track my two runs every week, nightly meditation, skipping dessert four times a week, and stopping work at 8pm.

    Planning a Creek Clean-Up

    One of the things we decided to do during our summer vacation was plan a creek clean-up. We live on a creek, so the idea is that people will meet at our house (with water bottles, water shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.), and we’ll provide trash bags. After we pick up trash for an hour or two, we will cool off in the pool! And then eat some pizza.
