    I’ve been resisting ordering my groceries online. It’s more expensive, and I don’t like what it represents about modern life. I’d like to think that weekly trips to the grocery store are meditative and that they reconnect us with the essential parts of being human. 
    But it’s been a really hard year for me and my family. Matt has had to take on a ton of extra things to support me in my work. I’m trying my best to keep my stress to a minimum so that I can be a good mother, a good wife, a good friend, and a good daughter, but I’m barely keeping my promises on

    One-Pot Meals

    I’m definitely on a one-pot meal kick. I’m always looking for simple and fast meals for weekday family dinners. 
    I know one of you wasn’t too impressed with this meal, but it was a big hit with our family. I added way more shredded Parmesan cheese than was recommended, and I think that helped increase the flavor. 
    This week we are going to try:
    Yeah, it’s a lot of pasta in one week but it is what it is!

    One Pot Recipe

    I’m still feeling overwhelmed by the goal of putting a home cooked meal on the table Sunday through Thursday. Matt does the morning routine with the boys, so I’m supposed to cook dinner. He’s actually been doing it a lot more than I have, but I aim to get things back into balance. 
    I still love our meal planning process in Excel, but I’m getting tired of our tried-and-trued recipes. I really need to add a new recipe each month to keep things interesting. 
    I’m intrigued by the idea of one-pot recipes! I look forward to trying One Pot Zucchini Mushroom Pasta
