My Intentions for 2022: Starting to Brainstorm Ideas
I’ve been chipping away at my holiday to-do list for the past month, ever since Katherine and I chatted about what kind of Fall we want to have on the podcast. As the world feels more and more out of control, I seek solace in focusing on what I can control.

Here are some of the things I’ve been able to check off:
- Sending out the Halloween party invite
- Building my grocery list for our Halloween party
- Finishing our costumes
- Sending out the Friendsgiving invite
- Renting a bouncy house, folding tables, and chairs for Friendsgiving

New Year’s Resolutions: 2021, Here We Come!
The truth is I’m not feeling particularly inspired by my new year’s resolutions this year. To me, they sort of sound like an uninteresting laundry list of things.
And—YET!—I am so excited and inspired as we head into 2021 for several reasons:
- I’m shifting my mindset. I am going to stop my 2020-tendency of focusing on what I can’t do because of COVID. Instead, I want to focus on all the things I still can do, despite the situation. (Because, let’s be honest. Thursday, December 31, 2020 is not all that different from Friday, January 1, 2021.)

Reflection & Rejuvenation: Getting My Life on Track
I like to set aside time for reflection and introspection as often as possible because it enables me to make adjustments to my life and feel like I’m living my best life possible. Can you believe we are already a fourth of the way through 2019?
