    Getting Ready for Motherhood

    Matt and I have talked about trying to start getting pregnant this summer. While I’m busy preparing my body for conception, I’m also trying to prepare my mind. I know I can’t fully understand how my life will change with a baby*, but I can try to imagine it, as a way of better preparing myself.

    Reducing Nasty Chemicals in My Life


    Reading the recent New York Times article about working on marriage (well, I have to confess I’m only on page five), has reminded me that Matt and I want to solidify our marriage before we jump into the sea of parenthood.

    I’ve been gobbling up the posts at Progressive Pioneer. When I saw a post about preparing for conception, I decided to dig into my pregnancy book basket and start sifting through all the information about pre-conception and how to prepare one’s body for conception.
