Mother and Son Weekend Getaway
Even though I’m supposed to be processing my childhood trauma with my therapist, we end up talking about my struggles with parenting instead. In our last session, he recommended that I take Henry on a mother and son weekend getaway.
My therapist says that Henry is crying out for more attention from me, which makes total sense. I opened a school when Henry was 3 years-old and haven’t slowed down much since then.

Sibling Rivalry: How to Reduce It
We started a new form of therapy with Henry this week called Therapeutic Assessment. He’s been in a play-based therapy for a couple years, but we were eager to try something new. I have been going to a therapist who practices Therapeutic Assessment for a year now. It’s been instrumental in helping me understand my issues and patterns and learning new ways of doing and being.
