I’m still smiling over here about our summer vacation to upstate New York. What a gorgeous part of the country during a gorgeous time of the year. (Hello, ticks!).

I sincerely hope our children remember their childhoods at this kind of altitude. (Although it’s not likely!) It’s a good exercise for me to see our life through this lens. It’s not a lens of denying the hard stuff that happens on a daily basis. It’s a lens of rising above the hard stuff, magnifying the good stuff, and feeling grateful.
