    Icebreakers: A Fun Get-to-Know-You Game

    Once a month at work, we try to do “One Fun Thing.” This month was our Second Annual Popsicle Party. I was reminded of one of my favorite icebreakers. It’s so simple!

    Materials

    • 1-2 strips of paper per person
    • writing utensils
    • a bowl or mug
    • an object to pass around (I almost used my son’s bunny from the photo above, but it was too smelly!)
    • a dice (I think that is plural, but I don’t think it will be clear what I’m talking about it if I actually write it properly!)

    Step One

    Turn on music and open boxes of popsicles. There are my personal favorite flavors:

    Vacation in Upstate New York: A Video

    Matt finished putting together a video of our vacation in Upstate New York. A friend of ours gave us his old drone and GoPro, so that’s what Matt uses. We also used our iPhones to capture pieces of it.

    I’m constantly asking parents who are older than I am, “What do you which you would have done differently to savor your children’s childhoods?” One of the answers that stuck out to me was a colleague of mine. He said, “I wish I would have captured more video.”
