Family Vacations: What’s on Our Horizon
Family vacations! I’m a bit behind on our planning. I try to plan both Fall Break and Spring Break as far ahead as possible, so we have more options for AirBnbs.
During the recent three-day weekend, I got motivated and planned two trips.
For Fall Break, we’ll be renting an RV and traveling to Big Bend. It will be a quick, four-day trip.

Free Airline Credit: When to use it?
I can’t remember ever earning free airline credit. I’m always too eager to get home to forfeit my seat. But earlier this year, we had an opportunity too good to pass up.
We were flying home from my first ever cruise. The airlines asked for people to give up their spots for $250. We were not interested. Home was calling! Then it got up to $500. I was tempted, but I knew Matt was eager to get home. Finally, $750! At that point, I didn’t care how much Matt wanted to get home. I read a lot about the increasing rates of anxiety in children and how parents are trying too hard to shape their children.
