It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with the Montessori approach. How long has it been now? At least 12 years since I started the certification process? I am trained as a 1st-3rd grade Montessori guide (i.e., teacher), but I have tried to learn as much as possible about implementing Montessori at home with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Since our children are constantly changing, our environments have to change, too! There is so much more than just “baby-proofing” your home.

Happy 6th Birthday, Tate! We Love You

Prepared for an Epic Nerf Gun Battle Tate’s 6th birthday is right around the corner. Therefore, as part of our parenting rituals, we write each child a letter on their birthday to encapsulate the past year. Then, it goes into their Easy-Peasy Scrapbook, along with approximately 10 photos. Happy 6th Birthday, Tate!

Crafting a Vacation Vision: Where Will You Go?

One of the ways my family and I savor time together is by going on several vacations a year. We’ve figured out what works for us. For example, we like going on mini-adventures each day. Staying in comfortable AirBnBs that feel relaxing is our preferred way. We like access to water. We prefer quiet to noise. Matt needs space to run. I need warm weather.
