$25 Trader Joe’s Cheese Board

I’ve been excited about building cheese boards with Trader Joe’s ingredients. I built a huge one for my birthday party (#treatyoself), but I wanted to figure out a more affordable version for everyday get togethers.
Enter the $25 cheese board! Here’s what it includes:
- Brie
- Truffle cheese
- Salami
- Rosemary Italian Style Crackers
- 3-Seed Beet Crackers (for gluten-free folks)
- Blueberries
- Cowboy Bark
There are so many things I had to pass up in order to keep the cheese board this affordable (like goat cheese, dried fruit, other types of crackers, and rosemary almonds!). But I’m happy with the way it turned out.

Birthday Rituals



Candle holder ritual from several years ago Henry celebrated his 8th birthday last week, so our birthday rituals are in full force around here!
The first thing I do is select ten or so photos from the past year and send them to Walgreens for printing using their online functionality. I order 4×6 for all the photos, except I order a 5×7 of my favorite.
Then I hang the Happy Birthday banner that I made when I was pregnant with Henry. I use painters’ tape to hang the ten or so photos around the banner.
