This was just brilliant! I wish I had the power to remove my step son from his regular public school and enroll him in to a Montessori school. I believe it would make a world of difference.
Oh, Sara. I think you mentioned you are writing a book on Montessori in the home? I so cannot wait for this, I really think there is something missing in the market in this area. Please let me know if you need any parent input!
Hi, Kylie! Yes, I'm partnering with an AMI-certified Assistant to Infancy to write a book. And, yes, we will definitely need your input! You are my go-to parent mentor! By the way, have you written a post explaining where you learned so much about Montessori for infants? I would love to see your list.
I have only used the usual sources, books, internet sites but most importantly people. I have been persistent though, if something didn't make sense I kept on asking until it did. Weaning is a great example, the books didn't make sense to me but after reading about your approach, At Home with Montessori and that wonderful Michael Olaf article it all came together. I love that Henry is a month or so older than my son, it makes your posts so relevant to me right now.
