New Gadget: Organizing My Long Computer Cord

    February 26, 2020 / No Comments
    new gadget

For my birthday, Matt bought me a new gadget. At first I was a little underwhelmed. But then I started using it and love it!

I have a really long Mac computer cord. Prior to using this new gadget, I was often rolling up my cord in a way that was causing damage to it. Now it’s less prone to damage. Further, it feels so much more organized in my backpack. The downside is that it is a bit heavy, but the clutter-free feeling makes the weight totally worth it.

I would definitely recommend it if you are grappling with a long Mac cord!

This Season’s Top Swimsuits: My Humble Opinion

    February 25, 2020 / No Comments
    this season's top swimsuits

If everything falls into place, I will be chasing the summer around the world next year (while working remotely). That means I will be swimming in Ireland, France, Switzerland, Norway, Italy, Croatia, South Africa, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Costa Rica, and the Pacific Northwest. So that’s why I’m thinking about this season’s top swimsuits!

I’ve been a big fan of strapless one-piece suits with underwire. But I think I’m looking for something a little more hardy this year. My top picks are from Boden.

must do activities in Los Angeles

In a couple weeks, we are heading to Los Angeles for Spring Break! What must do activities in Los Angeles come to mind for you?

We vacationed in Los Angeles 3.5 years ago. It’s surprising how fast the time goes! Henry was 6.5 at the time, and Tate was 4.

I typed in “free things to do in Los Angeles” and “best hike in Los Angeles,” and here are the ideas I have so far:

    • Griffith Observatory
    • Original Farmers’ Market
    • Monty’s Good Burger
    • LA Central Library
    • Arc Light Cinemas
    • The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens
    • Malibu Kitchen and Gourmet
    • Apricot Love Farms
    • Hike to Cave of Munits
    • Getty Center
    • California
